Established by Craig Nicholas Tate, the brand Nicholas Deakins, has its roots in the UK club scene of the early 90s.At a time when trainers were off limits to club goers and inspired by some of the most iconic US utilitarian workwear brands, Craig recognised the need for a shoe that was more casual and fashionable. Launched in 1991 and manufactured in Northampton, the home of UK footwear, the brands first 2 designs were an immediate success, selling out in little over two week. Nicolas Deakins is firmly established as one of the UK's leading footwear brands, with a reputation for innovative, original design using quality materials and the highest standards of manufacture.
